IonLife Undersink Conversion Kit

This unit converts any water ionizer to an under the counter installation.
However, some units are more suited than others for under sink conversion so if not sure please ask.

The unit can be either:
1. Attached to the cold line of a dishwasher
2. Attached to the cold water pipe.

Included are:
1. Vented faucet that ensures a one way flow of water upwards
2. Attachments for dishwasher or cold line.

Attaching to cold water pipe:

  1. Decide on position of your ionizer. The closer to the door the better, with easy access to controls. It is good to mount it on the side wall with the screws supplied so that you do not lose storage space for cleaning materials. Also, it provides less climb for the output water output.
  2. Attach stainless steel spout to your ionizer.
  3. Slide approx. 10cm of 3/8" plastic hose over the end of the stainless steel spout. Make it as tight as you can. It should have around 7-8cm left free after attachment to the spout. (Included with this kit)
  4. Attach another 10cm length to the inlet point under the ionizer (Neptune and Masterpiece only. Melody and Miracle can take the 1/4" hose direct from the faucet) Use clamp supplied with Ionizer to ensure it is tight. (Neptune and Masterpiece only)
  5. Attach a 3/8" to 1/4" Quickfit adaptor to both white plastic hose ends. (Neptune and Masterpiece only)
  6. Install faucet by cutting a 1" hole in bench or sink and fastening it in place.
  7. Turn off mains supply. Attach the Tee to the cold water copper tube.
  8. Cut the clear tube to easily reach the Tee from the cold water pipe.
  9. Attach the clear tube to the Tee using the 1/4" olive.
  10. Cut the red tube to easily reach the 10cm white tube attached to the water inlet point under the ionizer.(Neptune and
Masterpiece only; take the red tube all the way to the attachment point under the ionizer on the Melody or Miracle)
  11. Attach the red tube to the 3/8" to 1/4" QuickFit adaptor, as tight as possible. (3/8" tube is a tight fit) (Neptune and
    Masterpiece only
  12. Cut the blue tube to easily reach the white tube attached to the stainless steel spout.
  13. Attach the blue tube to the 3/8" to 1/4" adaptor on the white tube attached to spout.
  14. Attach grey (or white) 3/8" tube to acid water outlet. A clamp is not required. If the dishwasher drain is not occupied on the sink drain, open it up and attach the acid water hose, using silicon to seal it. If this is already used, use a hose tee into the dishwasher drain hose to allow it to share the dishwasher drainage point with the dishwasher, or drill a hole in waste pipe and use silicon to fix acid hose in place. In this case, you need to create an S-bend in the acid hose to prevent odor. This can be done using cup hooks on the wall of the cupboard. In both cases the drain outlet must be LOWER than the ionizer.
  15. Turn on the mains and test for leaks.
  16. Plug in the ionizer and turn it on. Select the pH setting you require. Turn on the faucet above sink and test the flow.

Attaching to Dishwasher cold water hose.
As above except for cold water attachment to dishwasher cold water inlet hose.
